Join us for the Explore the Circuit ride series with a ride along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) in Mercer County! The trail links a main street business district, corporate campuses, parks, preserved open space, schools and towns.
The ride will begin on the Lawrence Hopewell Trail through Mercer Meadows with a visit to the Johnson Trolley Line Trail where we'll discuss the proposed bicycle and pedestrian bridge over I-295 to connect the trail to Rider University and the City of Trenton. Riders will enjoy views of meadows along sections that are paved and portions that are gravel surfaces (we recommend that you do not ride with road tires to enjoy the route best). The full distance of this ride is measured at 10 miles round trip with amenities including the Pole Farm (a former relay station for international communications), a bike fix-it station, and more!
We will be riding at a leisurely pace with no drops. We recommend that you bring the following:
- Helmet
- Water
- Snacks
