Join us for the Explore the Circuit ride series with a ride along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) in Mercer County! The trail links a main street business district, corporate campuses, parks, preserved open space, schools, and towns as it travels through Lawrence and Hopewell Townships in the county.

Join us as we start on the Johnson Trolley Line Trail where we'll discuss a proposal for a bicycle and pedestrian bridge over I-295 to connect the trail to Rider University and the City of Trenton. Riders will enjoy views of farms and woods along sections that are paved and portions that have cinder dust and gravel surfaces.

*We recommend that you do not ride with road tires to enjoy the route best.*

The full distance of this ride is estimated at 11 miles round trip with amenities including the Pole Farm (a former relay station for international communications), a bike fix-it station, and more!

We will be riding at a leisurely pace with no drops. We recommend that you bring the following:

  • Helmet
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Inner tubes and a pump
