Event Details

Upper Darby, a township right across Philly’s western border, has been busy improving its bike network, and the Bicycle Coalition is partnering with the town’s recreation department to host a tour of those recent improvements. Riders will travel along bike lanes on parts of 69th Street and Lansdowne Avenue, newly finished parts of the Naylor's Run Trail, and low-stress routes to Naylor's Run Park. The ride is nine miles and mostly low-stress and scenic, with a few difficult road crossings and riding with traffic on 69th Street and Lansdowne Avenue.
The ride will start and end at the 69th Street Transportation Center, at the bike racks next to the pedestrian bridge. A preview of the ride route can be found here. RSVP to join!
